About Theodora.
The person behind the science.
Theodora attended a Private English School and later went on to study Biochemical Engineering at University College London (UCL), UK, graduating amongst the top of her class. She later expanded her horizons by studying business management.
She's been teaching Biology, Chemistry, and Physics for over 15 years now. Over that time she's developed a straightforward approach: if you understand how the exam works, you do better. Every lesson ties the theory back to real exam questions, past papers, mark schemes, and examiner reports, so students always know what's expected of them.
Based in Cyprus with online sessions available across Europe, Theodora works with students from 11 private schools. She covers Cambridge International (CIE), Pearson Edexcel, International Baccalaureate (IB), AQA, and OCR exam boards, from year 1 high school through GCSE and IGCSE to A-Levels and university entrance preparation.
Teaching Philosophy
Exams Come First
Every lesson is shaped by how the exam actually works. Students practise with real past papers, learn how marks are awarded, and get comfortable with the format before they sit down for the real thing.
Small Groups That Work
Classes are kept to 8-10 students. Small enough that everyone gets their questions answered, but with the energy that comes from learning alongside others.
Your Syllabus, Not Ours
No generic worksheets. Lessons follow the exact syllabus your school uses, whether that's Cambridge, Edexcel, IB, AQA, or OCR. The topics, the depth, the exam format, all specific to your board.
Understanding, Not Just Grades
Good grades matter, but students who genuinely understand the science perform better under pressure, remember more, and are far better prepared for what comes next.
